The more I study the more I realize the unlimited power in each and every one of us. Healing myself to many people might seem amazing because I did what doctors said was impossible. In reality it was one of the easiest yet THE most life changing thing I have ever done. We all have inner healing abilities. Just as your cuts and scrapes heal because you know nothing different and EXPECT them to – your whole body has the same capabilities. It is in recognizing this power and harnessing it that you can truly begin to heal. I would like to talk to you about what I now feel are the New Basics of Healing, show you videos from some great scientists that back up those feelings and also have you listen to my interview with Amy Jewell, Director of Cirkla as I discuss healing.
My Thoughts on Healing
Since beginning this blog I have stated its purpose is to:
“introduce lots of methods, modalities and teachers of healing so YOU can find someone/something that resonates within to make you take that leap.”
I still stand by that and feel MOST OF THE TIME it is in finding someone or something that WILL empower you to say, “I can do THIS!” and take action. Whether it is physical or emotional healing that needs to be done — I truly believe it needs to begin in consciousness followed by action. At the same time I am realizing how connected ALL healing is. We all have so much power in us and it takes our being conscious to be able to use it.
When was the last time you took 10 minutes and concentrated on your health in a positive way – seeing yourself as whole and healthy?
When was the last time you took 10 minutes to concentrate on someone you care about and not only wished them well but FELT and saw them well – whole and complete?
These are simple to do yet with all the distractions not many of us take the time to do these important things. It is different than “worrying” about yourself or that other person because those thoughts/emotions send negative energy out. By picturing the person better and feeling positively instead of the negativity of sorrow, worry or pity you are sending that positive energy to the person. Try it and be AMAZED by the results. If you need more to help you stay focused try on “Ho’oponopono” — by concentrating on those few sentences you will also see amazing results.
Heroes of Healing
Currently two of the three people following are on my Heroes of Healing list. Dr. Bruce Lipton is as important to healing as the others and I am very pleased a good friend of mine will be adding him to the Heroes of Healing list.
Gregg Braden and Dr. Bruce Lipton are two of my favorite scientists that have researched healing and what our emotions truly mean for us and our healing capabilities. Dr. Wayne Dyer helped me immeasurably in my own healing journey and in awakening to my true potential and inner self. There are new resources available every day that show what scientists have finally deemed as true and it is just making it to the masses — we control our health and we can help the health of others as well and it is not woo woo wisdom. It is as real as the screen you are looking at right now and it is time more of us awaken and learn to use this power within.
VIDEOS
I would like to show you a video from Gregg Braden and one from Dr. Bruce Lipton speaking with Dr. Wayne Dyer about healing. These speak clearly about the powers within us and each are only 4 – 7 1/2 minutes.
Gregg Braden is one of my favorites teachers because he has been a scientist for a long time and has looked for proof to back up all the “hypotheses on healing”. This video is him talking about his book released last year “The Spontaneous Healing of Belief” and he also has a new one out now called “Fractal Time” as well as many others I have enjoyed.
The following is Dr. Bruce Lipton with Dr. Wayne Dyer talking about how we have MANY misconceptions of healing. There are new basics that are CRUCIAL for all of us to begin to become aware of. I have posted part one but click onto youtube to continue this incredible series:
These videos talk about many of the Basics of Healing. WHY have we not known these things until now? WHY is it NOW that this is coming to light? I think Gregg Braden’s next video explains that a bit better. There are many missing texts of the Bible that DID tell us this… this is nothing new, just something lost and forgotten. What matters is not that it was forgotten but WHAT WE do with this knowledge now that it is readily available to us.
The Science of Miracles (Pt 3) — Click on the video to go to youtube and see other parts.
So what do you think? Did you know about these texts before? Do you feel that it is possible for us to heal ourselves? I feel the only part I am struggling to understand now is HOW important is belief. For me, it was everything and the second I began to study the mind/body connection I KNEW I would heal myself. I think in some modalities it needn’t be the case. I certainly shocked my husband when I first did Reconnective healing on him as he wrote about here because he was expecting to feel very little — not something so powerful as reconnective healing energy unmistakably is. Cath Lawson has been sharing her journey with The Silva Life System. While she had to at least think it was a possibility to purchase and review the Silva System she has called herself a cynic or a skeptic. Yet she is seeing AMAZING results in just a few weeks time. Her third and fourth posts reviewing the Silva System are particularly gripping and show JUST what we are ALL capable of in healing ourselves.
Interview and Thoughts
I was so happy to be interviewed by Amy from Cirkla. Amy wrote a guest post about her amazing community which is a directory for the Mind, Body, Spirit and Planet and is a wonderful resource. We talk a lot about healing in the first half of the interview and then move onto blogging and other topics in the second half. The interview is one hour but I would love if you have the time — if you would listen to some (if not all of it) and give your impressions.
So this is a quick summary of my feelings on the New Basics of Healing (believe me I could go on for a LOT longer!)
. I will be looking to post more like these with resources I have found useful on explaining WHY I feel the way I do about different aspects of healing. I now practice long distance healing as a Reconnective healer several times a week and am ALWAYS awed and humbled by the results. Remote healing has been studied for years by the CIA and scientists and I look forward to sharing some of my experiences with this as well in a future post.
Healing capability is a part of all of us. In this time of over prescribed drugs and ridiculously priced healthcare I feel it is key to begin to realize JUST how powerful all of us are. Am I recommending ceasing drugs and healing yourself in all cases starting NOW? No, conventional medicine has served us well and some medications have disastrous effects if you just end them. You always need to consult with a doctor before ending prescriptions. A few months ago I stopped taking the last medication I was on — coumadin, which the doctors said I would be on for life. I made sure I met with a hematologist to get that “Okay” before I did so. Guess what? He said because of HOW aware I was now of my body and of my emotions it was NOT critical to be on it like when I was ill. When I was telling myself “I will get a blood clot because I have this illness” — I was MUCH more likely to get one than now when I KNOW I am whole and healthy. Doctors are changing because science is backing up the facts — WE control our health. Maybe not consciously up until now but awakening into consciousness is the first step in doing so.
In my ebook I talk about the Paging Me System I came up with that helped me to awaken. If you buy the book now I will include a free update to my newer release that I am currently working on for free as soon as it is available. I am expecting the price of my new ebook to be more expensive as I will have even more resources than I have now. My ebook comes with worksheets and I also include a free 1/2 hour consultation after you have completed the worksheets. I am also taking appointments for reconnective distance healing and these are booking further and further out so you might want to book soon if you have been considering it.
What do you think after watching these videos? What are your beliefs on healing? Are you willing to begin to consider the possibility that we are all unlimited in our potential to heal ourselves and others? As this is my number one passion I would of course welcome comments, questions and any more recommendations you have for reading or videos. If you have not yet seen the incredible movie, What If? I highly recommend doing so… it goes into healing but also the other many incredible things we can do when we know no limits and awaken. Thank you!

Hi Jenny! thank you so much for your post the videos were amazing, I truly enjoyed hearing Dr. Lipton speak. This is also for me a subject that I know for me is true. I can and have healed myself of many thing over the year. The power inside of each and every one of us is amazing if we just tap into it. Thanks for continually broaching this subject.

Jenny this is excellent! We are indeed all healers, whether that be to heal ourselves or others (with their permission of course) People who resist or do not believe obviously cannot be healed.
I have bought a few weeks ago the book “Hands of Light” and intend to give it some serious focus and attention when I finish working full time in a couple of months. I want to give this my full attention as I want to study this area myself and help as many as possible!
I love too the words of wisdom from Dr.Wayne Dyer and Greg Braden – they are phenomenal teachers!
P.S. I was so excited to send the comment I forgot to mention congrats of the interview – it was fantastic and wow, this must have been so wonderful for you to get out there and be able to share your message with so many out there! The potential for us all is definitely amazing when it comes to what we can do, whether that comes to our health or other areas.

Hi Coryelle,
Yes I guess it’s no secret where my passion lies.
I do LOVE Dyer, Lipton and Braden. Dr. Dyer was very helpful WHILE I was healing myself and I still love to read and listen to him. Gregg Braden and Bruce Lipton I have only been studying for the last 6 months so I am WOWED by them all the time. It is wonderful to have so many inspirational people to learn from.
Thanks Coryelle and I am so happy you have gotten in touch with your inner healer. It’s a wonderful thing, isn’t it?!
I’ve gotten sick once over the last 2 years and that was totally non-rest related. Amazing what we can do when we listen to our bodies.
Love,
Jenny
Hi Evita,
Thanks so much for listening to the interview – I do love talking about healing.
I have a local TV interview this week so am excited for that as well… easier with the radio where I don’t have to worry about hair, clothes and make up!
I have “Hands of Light” on my amazon wish list… can’t wait to hear what you think. Dyer, Lipton and Braden are all so amazing — it is WONDERFUL to see their work being brought to light and it is my pleasure to introduce their work to more people.
You will be an excellent healer Evita and I am sure you will help many. Happy to hear you will be finishing working FT – will have to talk to you more about that!
I know people who are “attached to their illnesses” cannot be healed but with certain modalities I am wondering if you REALLY need DEEP belief…. it seems like Cath was not a believer but through using the Silva System is healing. I also saw MANY miracles occur with reconnective healing with people “who did not believe”. Maybe it is that somewhere they DO believe…. not sure but it is very interesting for me to observe.
Thank you Evita — I am sure we could talk about healing for a longgg time… hope to get that opportunity!
Love,
Jenny
Jenny,
Recently I am getting a whole new understanding about spiritual (or body-mind) healing. In fact, I think it’s far more than “healing”. I think you are going beyond healing in the limited sense, which is to cure the wounds and to recover to a “normal” state. But just as with the physical health, there is more than healing — we can strengthen our body to be even stronger than we were — we can become more than what is conventionally believed to be “healthy”.
For example, that man who fed on light on an extended time. This is beyond healing, and it’s wonderful.
Gregg Braden’s mention of the 4th century Roman destruction of the ancient wisdom is very important. He is underplaying it (smart guy!), but he knows — there was a fundamental change in Christianity and overall western culture at that time. What I consider to be the darkworkers’ control.
Thrive on, Jenny. As I learn more and more about light ascension through my own experiences, I have a renewed interest in what you and Robin at LLF have to say.

Jenny, you have an amazing story to share. It’s great that managed to heal yourself from your illness but is now becoming a conduit for healing for others. What an inspiration!!
I enjoyed the interview that you did. I love how you constantly remind me that anything is possible, if I choose to believe it!

Hi Jenny,
It’s so great to hear your interview with Amy! And to hear your story of how you’ve made it to where you are today – and seeing how you’ve really healed yourself. How awesome a story to share! There really is a mind-body connection! Jenny and Amy – thank you for this! What a great story to hear!
The idea of taking ten minutes to focus on health – for me or for others – what a beautiful concept – in making positive changes in ourselves and others.
Now…go out and run around like a maniac!
Lances last blog post..Sunday Thought For The Day
Hi Akemi,
Gregg Braden is BRILLIANT isn’t he! When I listened to him (Ray and I got 4 audiobooks of his) it all kind of CAME together for me WHY and HOW this information wasn’t available for so long. I am always digging deeper, asking more questions and his work and Dr. Lipton’s work answered MANY of my questions.
Hmm… beyond healing…. gotta give that thought. I feel that if you stay conscious after a healing you stay whole or complete. If you get into some of your bad habits again or don’t process emotions I feel the dis-ease can resurface or another manifestation will occur. I think what Enrique did was tremendous but I still believe he was very human. He learned a technique that indeed requires you to be conscious and meditate regularly….
I feel the more you are in that state of “love, knowingness and bliss” as Dr. Chopra would say (I LOVE those terms and hear him saying them when I type them
)– the harder and less likely it would be that you would return to a previous state of bad health. But does that make your healing BEYOND healing? Hmmm… still gotta think on that one!
I love Robin and LLF as well.
All of this empowerment and new (but not so new) information on healing and the human body and what we are capable of — blows me away consistently.
Thank you Akemi — always a pleasure to receive your comments.
Love,
Jenny
Hi Evelyn,
Awww thanks Evelyn. You are so sweet. I am glad you liked the interview. Amy was so easy to talk with.
YOU get my main message — ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. If anyone would have told me I would have experienced some of the things I have over the last 2 years I would never have believed them. It is in opening yourself up and waking yourself up that you are then ready for the true magic of life to appear. It is a truly beautiful thing!
A little over 2 years ago I was terrified of the future and now every day I witness miracles. I feel very blessed to be alive at this time in history and it is a joy to see so much important information come to light!
Thanks so much for the retweet and stumble Evelyn! GREATLY appreciated!
I wish you and your family continued abundance as well!

Hi Lance,
I am so happy you enjoyed hearing my story. It helps me to look back (briefly) every now and then to see just how very far I have come.
Thank you so much for listening and for your kind kind words! Amy did a great job — it was so easy to speak with her. And YES if there was ever any doubt in your mind before — there definitely IS a mind/body connection.
The “trick” or “hard part” in all of this is just making the time for self. Many of us choose to turn on the TV or do something mindless then to tune into what our bodies and inner self is trying to tell us. The world moves so fast in so many ways and it is up to each of us to slow it down for ourselves, take notice in the little things, take an objective look at the big stuff and most importantly to just “be”. To take ten minutes to imagine yourself or someone else well is a not a lot of time and BOY can it do a LOT of good.
Thank you Lance — always a pleasure to hear from you. Your Sunday quote was perfect for me this week (as always)!
Love,
Jenny
Hi Jenny,
Making time for self – it sounds so easy! And yet, the easy thing about it – is putting it off… I’m getting better, although I know there is so much more I can do too. So, Jenny, you’re leading me in that direction – and I’ll take those steps – 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there – I’m going to do this!
Lances last blog post..Sunday Thought For The Day
Hi Lance,
You can do it – I know it seems VERY “Hard” at first. With kids, work, house chores, etc. it seems like 10 minutes is a rarity. BUT it can be 10 minutes before you get out of bed in the morning or 10 minutes before you go to sleep… these are actually the times the mind is in its most receptive state anyway — in that alpha state…. highly good for thoughts, emotions, goals, intentions…..
I began there because it seemed like that was time I had anyway…. When sick I would roll around for 10 minutes or more thinking to myself how sick I was….. much better to put my energy into how WELL I was or how well I pictured someone else. Also, the shower is an option…. usually a very relaxed state and one where your mind can wander through all the to-do’s, etc. or be focused on how good the water feels which brings out that relaxed and happy feeling and is perfect for setting intentions, picturing wellness for others…
Looking forward to hearing your results Lance.
Love,
Jenny
Jenny, you are such a bright light in this world and I feel blessed to have found you, your blog, and your words. Although I do focus on my wellness and the wellness of others, I don’t spend 10 minutes being fully present on health. Most likely, I spend around 15 seconds being present with my health and the help of others. Thank you for opening me up to the idea of spending more time on this important component of my life.
Stacey / Create a Balances last blog post..Carnival of Personal Development – March 23, 2009
Hi Stacey,
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I am very happy I found you too! The balance group writing project you had came at a perfect time for me to evaluate the balance in my life and I had some “A-Ha” moments reflecting and writing it.
10 minutes is not that long in the scheme of things but it is interesting we can always find time to fill it with a TV show, surfing the internet, chores and other things we feel “have to get done now”. Taking that 10 minutes each day for yourself and for someone else in your life is a wonderful way to be “in the moment”. You WILL see results…. The times I have done Ho-oponopono for others – 5 minutes a day for 2-3 days in a row and in each case — it seemed miracles occurred.
Thank you again for your nice words and for commenting.

Jenny
Jenny Mannions last blog post..We Are All Healers — The NEW Basics Of Healing
Listening to the interview right now – you are so articulate and light, I guess that should not be a surprise because that is always how I feel when I read your words here also. I love hearing about the distance healing especially. Per your questions, I do believe the power of the mind is unlimited, and we can use it for any number of things, including healing. I also agree with what Akemi said above – I think this work is often much more than healing, it is about transformation. That’s also why I like Gregg Braden’s stuff especially, because it is about healing and transformation. Thanks again!

Hey Jenny,
wow, Absolutley Brillant!!I loved watching the videos and interview and ofcourse my fav is dr. Wayne Dyer.Thankyou so much for directing me towards them. They really connect everything that you do together.
More so THANKYOU for giving me the opportunity to experience Reconnective Healing. All I can say is that you are amazing!! I felt each and every part of my body being healed. I truly believe that EVERYONE should experience the healing once.
As a result I am still experiencing the effects of our session. Yesterday, due to me overdoing it I was in so much pain but woke up as fit as a fiddle this morning. Usually, I have to spend the whole day in bed, taking painkillers and not being able to move(I had even cancelled appts). To say I was stunned is to put it mildly to have got of of bed with NO PAIN and NO ACHES..Amazing!! and I have only one person to thank…YOU!!
I am really looking foward to our next session.
Thanks
Love

Hi Lisa,
Thank you so much for listening to the interview and for your kind words. I do look forward to posting more about distance healing – there are many studies that have been done that would be wonderful to share. I have a hard time explaining it personally because it is just so beautiful and filled with love that words don’t seem to do it justice… but I’ll try!
To witness miracles every time I experience one is humbling to say the least AND needless to say a wonderful way to experience each day!
I thought more about Akemi’s comment and I think it is the “words” that are scrambling my mind a bit. I feel awakening to consciousness IS beyond our normal idea of what “perfect health” has been. It is a necessary step in our evolution as a species to discover our true powers. God/The Universe/the Divine/Source and ALL of us are connected. In that we can do anything and have unlimited resources readily available whenever we are ready to “tune in” and awaken. We are transformed from the limits of our old selves and in that way I see how we are “more than healed”.
Always a pleasure Lisa.
Lots of Love,
Jenny
Yea Aneeta!
Your words made me cry tears of gratitude. When I became a practitioner you were one of the first people that came to mind to have a session with. I know the first one occurred when it was “supposed to” because I got SUCH the sense you were SO SO ready!
I appreciate the gratitude but you also need to give yourself LOTSA credit for being open and ready to receive the healing. I know how hard it can be to “let go” and just receive and WOW Aneeta the picture in my head of you healthy and waking up feeling GREAT will bring tears to my eyes for a long time to come! You are SUCH a giving person, full of life and I know how much you did when you were sick so can’t even IMAGINE how much will be done now!
You need to heed the same warnings I give myself…. be kind to yourself…. take time to relax. You will feel now like you can do anything and everything without pain pills and boy do I remember how invigorating that felt! It doesn’t mean it’s time to over-do it…. Ahh so funny because I know if my friends and family read this they are saying, “Umm… Jen — do you READ your own advice?”.
We are “givers” by nature and maybe we can both coach each other in how to relax and receive and be as kind to ourselves as we are to others! I am getting better but it is an area that can still use improvement.
I really look forward to our next session Aneeta as well as hearing about all your successes and accomplishments. You have SUCH a beautiful family and I am also very happy and grateful for what this means for them as well.
Love you TONS Aneeta and miss you as well. I am so grateful we were able to connect in this way and I cannot even say how happy your healing makes me feel! BIG HUGS! Hope we can get our families together in the not too distant future.

Hi Jenny – I’ve just dropped back – I’m at Mum’s in the country and it is midnight and I should go to bed (I seem to keep writing to you at midnight).
I just watched the Bruce Lipton video above and it is SO powerful, isn’t it? It’s so exciting! I had never heard of him before What if – he has so much certainty in him.

Hey Robin,
I LOVE Bruce Lipton! Yes he is so sure and inspiring. From the interview with James I learned how we wanted to DISPROVE the importance of Spirituality and actually wound up proving how important it is…. fascinating! He is a brilliant scientist and has MANY videos online to watch…. Ray and I have watched quite a few and he never ceases to amaze us.
It’s 9AM here and I am getting ready to do a distance healing which always FILLS me with energy and excitement!
Get some rest and let’s catch up soon.

Hi Jenny – Thanks for linking to my posts, I’m really loving the Silva system. I just watched the second video now and I’m going to go back and check out the third one and also listen to the rest of your excellent interview.
Wasn’t the placebo affect knee operation amazing? The story about the cancer was weird. I did wonder how come a lot of people die of cancer so quickly after they are diagnosed and whether it could be possible if their death is actually caused by their own mind.
I once heard a story about a guy who cured himself of cancer because he just didn’t understand the diagnosis, so he didn’t worry about it.
Hi Cath,
Thanks so much for listening and for watching the videos.
It is my pleasure to link to you — I am SO happy for your successes using the Silva System. I am grateful you are sharing with it others so they can think about trying it themselves.
As to diagnosis and what it does to a person… I think it VERY much affects a person’s outlook and their future. Honestly if I had believed my doctors I WOULD be in a wheelchair right now popping pain pills instead of where I am now. Since everyone is different and the mind is SO important I don’t believe it is right to give as my good friend Greg calls it “A Medical Death Sentence”. http://holistic-personal-development.com/2007/11/15/the-medical-death-sentence/
By not even telling the person there is a possibility of recovery you are implanting that belief into them and I do not believe that is fair. ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is possible as you have recently seen.
It has now been being made public that the majority of doctors use the placebo affect to treat patients. Which means they KNOW the power of the mind.
This is such a fascinating time to be alive and it feels like every day things are shifting more rapidly as the limits of our lives disappear and we all awaken into our full power. Wow — I can’t even imagine what this means for the future – but it SURE IS exciting!
I can totally believe the story you were told. Not worrying is key and picturing yourself well goes even further!
Congratulations to you Cath on all your successes!
Love,
Jenny
Hi Jenny
I totally agree that we have the healing capabilities within our own subconscious mind. One needs to believe and keep an open-mind, and we will be able to see the wonders of it.

Hi Wendy,
I, too think an open mind is key to experiencing new things. I did a post a while back that featured an awareness test — that showed me clearly that we only see what we are looking for or expecting to see. I now try to be wide open so I can see and experience the things that for many years I did not even notice. Thanks so much for visiting and commenting.

Hi Amy!
Ahhh yes we have so many tools and it is nice that we have each other to remind each other of them!
Thanks so much for your kind words Amy – they are greatly appreciated. I loved being on your TV show and am so happy to see you bringing so much awareness to our area. Your girls are so wonderful and they are a reflection of you. Shine on and remember “There is MORE than enough time”.
Hope to see you this week. xo

Jenny,
I am so glad to have found your blog. I enjoyed reading this post very much, as well all the information you provided with it.
I DO believe in healing ourselves and others. In my case, I’ve learned to listen to what my body is telling me. Usually, it knows what is needed to heal. It’s up to me to pay attention. I found this can be even more important than some medical advice.
I also believe in sending positive energy to friends and others who might be need. It’s amazing what can accomplished when we join together and share our life energy. Thanks for this post and your site :~)
Saras last blog post..Story Photo Contest
Hi Sara,
Welcome! Thank you for reading and for taking the time to comment.
You got it Sara! Listening and being aware enough to listen to your own body is so key. Many doctors are not “healers” in all cases. Their job sometimes is to diagnose dis-ease and manage symptoms. I feel true healing much of the time lies within. Masking symptoms only puts you more out of touch with what your body is trying to tell you. My original doctor walked around handing out prescriptions like candy and my new doctor asked me “do you meditate” — THAT said it all to me!
I have witnessed amazing healings long distance with my reconnective healing practice. I know there are many more modalities as well as simply “sending your energy” with no modalities that can work wonders. I feel the key lies in what I mentioned in my post — not sending worry, concern, fear but picturing that person healthy and sending GOOD thoughts their way.
So nice to meet you… I took a quick look at your blog and look forward to going back. You are sharing LOTS OF positivity which is a wonderful thing!

I hope to get my new post up tomorrow — it’s another important one…. I just saw the movie The Living Matrix and now have a new favorite movie. It describes in scientific terms a lot of what I wrote about in this post. I know it shouldn’t matter “how healing works” because it performs miracles but it is nice to start having quantifiable data to back it up. It will make it resonate with more of the general public. The movie is BRILLIANT but I will save my ravings for my post!
I am still figuring out the ins and outs of EC but would love to follow you. I LOVE the idea of living every day as if it’s your birthday!
Very pretty pictures on your blog as well. Nice to “meet you”.

As a person realizes healing is done from within, that energy itself is active in form and formless worlds, then one gains invaluable insight into the reality of the way things are. Feeling ill at ease is like recognizing imbalance. You begin to rectify this from the moment you realize you exert more mind control than you may have thought.
