You have to enter your name and then start playing — no sign up necessary. There are ads on the site but I did not find any inappropriate — mostly other game sites. There are also ads for MANY other wellgames that you can download or buy. There are games for all ages but a younger child might need help picking the games and maneuvering through the site (and around the ads). Overall it is a VERY kid friendly site and my kids and I had a GREAT time exploring some of the games.
A few of my favorites are:
Mystereiz! — Find the numbers (1-36) hidden in the picture in the time allotted (you get a lot of time). We played until Level 6 and had tons of fun doing it even if there was usually 1 number left we couldn’t find. You also get to see what numbers your opponent has left to find. Any age.
Bubblez — My kids liked this one. Simple game that helps hand/eye coordination and mouse usage for younger ones — just click on the bubbles and not on the blank spaces. As the bubbles float around you get more points for clicking on the smaller bubbles. Any age.
Clickz! — Fun game where you click like shapes to remove them from the board and get the whole board to change to white. They say addicting in the description and I can see why. Any age.
Wordz — Switch letters in multiple words so that they all spell words. The grayed out letters can be moved around and it will tell you when you have the word right. Addicting word game that definitely has the brain going. Ages 8 and up unless you have a GREAT younger speller in the house.
Those are my favorites. They did have a bunch of games to download that looked very interesting and we might have to check out. Good site overall and I look forward to them adding more free online games.
