It is no secret that Conceptis Puzzles is my favorite puzzle site. I have written a review of the previously designed site, a post on my Healing Blog, “Can Puzzles & Games Heal?“and the great people behind Conceptis were even nice enough to make one of their wonderful Pic-a-Pix Puzzles of my children. I have [ Read More ]

I have written a review of the previously designed site, a post on my Healing Blog, “Can Puzzles & Games Heal?“and the great people behind Conceptis were even nice enough to make one of their wonderful Pic-a-Pix Puzzles of my children. I have been looking forward to their launch of the new design and it does not disappoint! The new design offers an even easier way to find JUST the puzzle you are in the mood for whether it be to print it out or play online, an easy way to go to forums and talk with others who enjoy puzzles, a really nice shop to find great gifts and just a fun and relaxed feel in general.

I am a big Sudoku fan and Conceptis offers a really brilliant interface for doing these online and they are always introducing new puzzles. They also offer 9 different TYPES of Sudoku puzzles which I have not seen ANYWHERE else. Not only do they offer Sudoku but many other puzzles such as Kakuro and Hitori. Aside from these they have my son’s favorite the Dot-a Pix where Conceptis takes traditional Dot-to-Dot puzzles to a whole new level. They also have Slitherlink (one of my favorites) and several other innovative puzzles like Battleships, Link-A-Pix, Fill-A-Pix and Maze-A-Pix.

There is something at Conceptis for everyone and with their in depth instructions and tutorials offered for each game — it won’t take you long to find a puzzle (or several) that you want to keep coming back to. Along with their new layout is the ability to have a My Conceptis which keeps track of games you play and tells you about the latest game reviews. I also found a new game which I could see becoming QUITE addicting called Hashi which is a different spin on tradition number games. It has simple instructions that require logic and I can even see young children really liking this one.

Conceptis is also offering the ability to syndicate their logic puzzles on your blog or website (which you can see I already have taken advantage of with one of their Sudoku puzzles on my sidebar). This will update puzzles throughout the week.

The new Conceptis Puzzle site is innovative and easy to navigate through. With their different levels of puzzles, variety of puzzles, tutorials and supportive environment I consider this THE puzzle site for ages 6 – adult. Thank you Conceptis for exceeding my expectations with your new site and for offering so much for your visitors! Your dedication to quality shines through in your new site!

The GREATEST thing about recommending kid’s computer games and blogging about them has been meeting other people that love games as well as exploring other sites/games. When I came across Conceptis Puzzles I knew I had found a special site. I found a site with tons of thinking games such as Sudoku, Fill a Pic Puzzles to Dot-to-Dot Printables for kids AND adults. There are tons of logic puzzles to do online or to print out. My son LOVES the dot-to-dot and we’re working our way through them (some of them have HUNDREDS of numbers). I sent an email complimenting the site and was fortunate enough to meet Dave Green and Gil Galanti who run and design the site.

Gil had written an article on his blog Individual At Home about “Puzzles as Pain Relievers” and since healing and games are my two passions I instantly felt a connection. I wrote an article, “Can Puzzles and Games Heal?” on my blog and continued to stay in touch.

Conceptis Puzzles is more than just a terrific game site. It is also a community for people who love puzzles. Through it I met Leena at Conceptis Addict who is a wonderful blogger and person. There are opportunities to review puzzles there and win shirts as well as an opportunity to submit your story for a possible puzzle to be made of you. This is what I did and if you visit the site you will see the following picture made into a puzzle of my kids.

Conceptis Puzzles encapsulates what a puzzle site should be about; thinking puzzles, community, the ability to print puzzles and just a warm and welcome feel to the site. Thank you Dave, Gil and The Conceptis Puzzle Team for such a wonderful site. I know I’ll be visiting and telling people about it for years to come.
