Give yourself Permission for a Reset!

Please give yourself permission for that reset! I know firsthand how challenging life can be and it has been my mission and passion the last 20 years to keep learning. I’ve been focusing on improving and healing my own life as well as offering my loved ones and clients tools to do the same.

To reset IS to show yourself some love! I am a recovering perfectionist and people pleaser and have been known to be extra hard on myself and I TEACH this stuff and have plenty of tools! I know it is not “easy” by any stretch of the imagination to be on this planet during this time of great change. It becomes a little easier when we are KIND to OURSELVES and celebrate what we have learned and give ourselves permission to move the hell on instead of basking in the past.

This poem came from that this morning and I feel it is good timing with the new year to offer it to you. Sending tons of love!!

 

Pressing the Reset Button on My Life 12/27/2024

I am pressing the re set button on my life
I give myself permission to begin anew
I will keep all of the lessons learned.
Choosing to focus on how I grew.

I am moving forward without the heavy baggage
I have carried long enough
I give myself an inner hug
As I release all that has felt rough.
I have replayed occurrences and words said
By myself and others I wish had gone another way.
I’ve punished myself for long enough
I get to choose a brand new day.
Blame, shame and guilt now get to be a thing of my past
I am powerfully choosing to set myself free.
Only in leaving these things behind
Can I embrace the new and empowered me.
I will remember the good times
The love and the things that made me smile
I will move forward with gratitude in my heart
Release myself from judgment and the inner trial.
There are things I wished had gone differently
Being human is a learning path
But only I can free myself
From the voice in my head and it’s wrath.

I get to love myself as I love loved ones
Wrapping myself in smiles and hope
I get to celebrate the entire journey
No longer trying to simply cope.

I unleash new possibilities
In choosing to accept and not live in the past
I get to fully be in the present
Creating a new future that is vast.

I am pressing the reset button on my life
I am excited for this next phase
I will awake grateful with love in my heart
For all of my past and future days.
